NIPOMO FFA

Hey Hey Hey Nipomo!!! My name is Michael Russell, and I am serving as your 2025-2026 Outreach Officer! Now this is only my second year in the very famous corduroy jacket and I've never really had too much experience with agriculture but still wanted to get involved as much as I could last year. FFA started small, but now is one of my full passions. Over the past two years, I've been very involved in competitions such as Farmpower, Creed, and Opening & Closing. From the moment I zip up this jacket, the opportunities become endless. I have made so many new friends, gained valuable skills, and of course had so much fun along the way. I am beyond stoked in becoming an officer. Although my journey has yet to end I'd want to become a state officer for all California, carrying on my passion of leading and inspiring. I love what the FFA has done for me and my advice to you is, whether you have experience in agriculture or not, give FFA a try because community and competitions always make the journey worth it.
