NIPOMO FFA

My name is Tyler Korsberg and I am so excited to serve as this years Historian and Digital Informational Services Committee Leader. Outside the jacket I love leading the court in indoor and beach volleyball with my friends. I also like raising all kinds of animals and being out in nature. Through out this year I will have 2 SAE projects. One is orchard management and fruit production, and the second one is an unpaid placement as a turkey project leader. Competing is a big part of my life, and recently I’ve found major success. At the Santa Barbara County fair I placed 1st In Round Robin. Along with that I was on the state winning Nursery team. Stemming off the last one, I also able to find individual success being a 1st high individual. My favorite movie is Fantastic Mr Fox by Wes Anderson, my current favorite song is Moonlight on the River by Mac DeMarco, and my favorite book is The Miserable Mill by Lemony Snicket. I’d love to continue to be involved in ag, I’d like to attend Cal Poly SLO for plant science or research involving the environment/livestock. Another thing I’m interested in is being in the College of Creative Studies for Marine Science researching at UCSB.
