Genesis Bermeo Vega

Hello! My name is Genesis Bermeo Vega! I'm super excited to share with you all that this is my first year in Ag leadership and my 3rd year being involved in the FFA, so yes I am a junior here at Nipomo. I have been involved in Creed Public Speaking and Impromptu Public Speaking. The teams I've done are Floral/Horticulture, and I am excited to do so again this year. I've also shown livestock at the Santa Barbara County Fair. Last summer I showed a goat, and this summer I decided to show a market sheep and compete in Ladies Lead. I enjoyed it so much that I have decided to do so again this year! My future plans after High School include going to UC Berkeley, College of Law to study either Water Law in California or Malpractice Law. In college, I want to continue to participate in Model UN and get deep into the law field. While I have high goals for college, I still value time with my family and friends. For one, I really love my mom and older sisters. My friends and family are very important, and I can't help but care for them when they've done the same for me. Outside of FFA I am involved in the Model UN (United Nations), Art Club, Chicano Studies Club and AVID Leadership! It can get hectic at times trying to juggle it with FFA, but I genuinely enjoy them so I manage.
