NIPOMO FFA

Hey everyone!! My name is Gabrielle Ballesteros. I am a sophomore, and this is my first year in Ag Leadership!! Last year, I competed in Opening/Closing ceremonies, Best Informed Greenhand, Creed Speaking, Citrus Judging, and Nursery Landscape! I also attended the Greenhand Leadership Convention and State Conference. I plan to continue the same CDEs I did last year (citrus judging & nursery landscape), and I'm super hyped for the competition season to start!! After highschool, I plan to go to a 4-year university (still haven't considered which one), following the pre-med pathway, and majoring in biology! Afterwards, I want to apply for medical school, and hopefully specialize in psychiatry!! I'm extremely grateful to my parents for supporting me in everything I do & being my biggest cheerleaders. I'm also thankful towards everyone in my friend group, they're the funniest people I've ever met and they always keep me going!! In my free time, I love to read & write! I have my own personal mini library at home with all of my favorite books. Additionally, I'm also in the progress of writing my own novel, which is pretty cool. Besides all this, I also love to bake!! I try my best to whip up a sweet treat for my friends to bring to school every weekend.
